THIS COMMAND OF GOD IS FOR PEOPLE OF GOD TO TURN FROM THOSE MINISTERS WHO WILL NOT BOW TO THE LORDSHIP OF JESUS CHRIST AND DESIRE THEIR OWN WAY (Read Luke Chapter 20)
TO ALL MINISTERS WHO SERVE THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IN TRUTH, PLEASE KNOW THAT I AM BIGGEST CHEERLEADER IN THE FIGHT OF FAITH AND THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST AS MINISTERS OF THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST, NONE OF US IS EXEMPT FROM OUR OWN FLAWS OR INADEQUECIES. GOD KNOWS THAT I PRAY DAILY TO BE BLAMELESS IN ALL THINGS, AND NOT ONLY ME BUT ALL WHO HEAR ME. I ALSO PRAY THE LORD HIMSELF SHEPHERDS HIS PEOPLE THROUGH ME FOR I DO NOT SEEK MY OWN WILL, BUT HIS WHO HAS SENT ME TO ACCOMPLISH THE GOODNESS OF HIS WILL. HOWEVER, SOMETIMES WE MAY FEEL LIKE JOHN THE BAPTIST WHO HAD MOMENTS OF DOUBT ABOUT OUR OWN CERTAINTY OF WHO JESUS IS (Luke 7:18-35), OR LIKE PETER BEING REBUKED BY JESUS FOR BEING MINDFUL OF THE THINGS OF MEN (Matthew 16:13-28). EVEN PAUL SAID HE GLORIED IN HIS OWN INFIRMITIES BECAUSE HE KNEW THAT NO FLESH COULD EVER GLORY IN GOD’S PRESENCE (2 Corinthians Chapter 12). GOD IS NO RESPECTOR OF PERSONS, BUT HE HAS GIVEN US A COMMISSION AND DISPENSATION TO PREACH HIS TRUE AND ETERNAL GOSPEL IN THE FACE OF ALL OPPOSITION (Matthew Chapter 10; I Corinthians 9:16-17). AND LIKE PAUL, GOD KNOWS THAT I AM LESS THAN THE LEAST OF ALL SAINTS THAT THIS GRACE AND APOSTLESHIP AND CALL IS GIVEN FOR OBEDIENCE TO THE FAITH IN ALL NATIONS (Romans 1:1-5). YET, LIKE EACH OF YOU, I SEEK TO DO HIS WILL. YET, WHILE WE SEEK THE LORD THAT OUR MINISTRY BE NOT BLAMED, IT IS OUR LORD AND GOD JESUS CHRIST WHO IS OUR HIGH PRIEST, THE BISHOP OF ALL OF OUR SOULS AND MAKES US ABLE MINISTERS OF HIS BLOOD COVENANT (2 Corinthians Chapter 3; 2 Corinthians Chapter 6; I Peter 4:11; Hebrews Chapter 7). AND TO THOSE LIKE MYSELF WHO ARE MINISTERS OF CHRIST, HIS ETERNAL GOSPEL, AND WHO FALL ON THE ROCK OF JESUS, THIS COMMAND OF THE LORD IS NOT FOR YOU. NOR SHOULD PEOPLE TURN AWAY FROM THOSE WHO ARE SINCERE AND UNCORRUPT IN DOCTRINE, COMMANDING ALL MEN TO REPENT AND FOLLOW THE LORD, MINISTERING THE SPIRIT, GODLY EDIFYING, AND EQUIPPING THE SAINTS IN LOVE FOR SERVICE TO THE LORD. LET NO MAN DESPISE YOU (Titus Chapter 2). GOD KNOWS THAT I DO NOT. IN FACT, YOU MAY NOT BELIEVE THIS, BUT I AM YOUR ARMOR BEARER AND IN YOUR CORNER FIGHTING FOR YOU DAILY, SOMETIMES WEEPING, OTHER TIMES PLEADING WITH GOD, AND OTHER TIMES JUST CONSTANTLY BOMBARDING HEAVEN FOR YOU – WHETHER YOU ARE KNOWN OR UNKNOWN. YOU MATTER TO ME AND THE LORD WHO EVER LIVES TO MAKE INTERCESSION FOR YOU ALSO. I ALSO WANT YOU TO KNOW I DON’T PRAY FOR YOU ALONE, BUT FOR ALL WHO WOULD HEAR THE WORD COMING THROUGH EACH OF YOU, EVEN AS JESUS HAS COMMANDED US (John 17:19-21). I PRAY THAT ALL OF US AS GOD’S PEOPLE AND MINISTERS ARE COMING TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH, COMING INTO THE UNITY OF THE FAITH AND SPIRIT, AND IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF JESUS BECOMING ONE AND PERFECT IN HIM (Ephesians Chapter 4) I LOVE YOU ALL AND I PRAY NOT ONE MINISTER OR PERSON EVER PERISH. IT IS TO THIS END WE ALL LABOR FOR THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST. MAY GOD’S MINISTERS BE ONE IN HIM AND BE STRENGTHENED, EQUIPPED AND FIT FOR EVERY GOOD WORK. BY THE REVELATION OF GOD’S SPIRIT OF GRACE AND TRUTH, A SERIES IS PUT ON THE SUB-PODCAST TO HELP EQUIP MINISTERS OF THE GOSPEL WHICH YOU CAN SEE BY CLICKING HERE. (A FEW MESSAGES ARE BELOW. MAY YOU BE ENCOURAGED AND STRENGTHENED IN YOUR ETERNAL COMMISSION TO FOLLOW THE LORD’S CALL). MAY WE ALL REJOICE IN HEAVEN ONE DAY TOGETHER FOR THE GOODNESS OF GOD THAT HAS BROUGHT US TOGETHER IN CHRIST. YET, I HOPE TO MEET ALL OF GOD’S MINISTERS HERE ON THE EARTH AS TIME IS GETTING SHORT, BUT THERE IS MUCH WORK TO BE DONE FOR THIS FINAL HARVEST. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO REACH OUT TO ME VIA EMAIL AT iFollowJesusNow@gmail.com. IF YOU WOULD EVER LIKE TO TALK, PRAY, OR BECOME PART OF THIS WORK OF GOD AND COMMISSION OF THE LORD TOGETHER PLEASE REACH OUT TO ME. I AM HERE FOR YOU AND WITH YOU, FOR WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER FOR JESUS CHRIST OUR KING.
Learning God’s word (the bible), taught and revealed by God’s Holy Spirit produces discernment to know truth from error, and the true ministers of Christ from the Satan’s ministers transformed as an angel of light. Through this doctrine of the Lord, may all of God’s people come to the truth to understand how to discern those who are teaching and preaching the word of God in truth, from those who are deceived and deceiving others. Most of all, to turn away from them, lest we be led away with the error of the wicked.
PAUL’S PLEA TO THE CORINTHIANS 2 Corinthians 11:1-15 1I hope you will put up with me in a little foolishness. Yes, please put up with me! 2I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him. 3But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ. 4For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough. 5I do not think I am in the least inferior to those “super-apostles.” 6I may indeed be untrained as a speaker, but I do have knowledge. We have made this perfectly clear to you in every way. 7Was it a sin for me to lower myself in order to elevate you by preaching the gospel of God to you free of charge? 8I robbed other churches by receiving support from them so as to serve you. 9And when I was with you and needed something, I was not a burden to anyone, for the brothers who came from Macedonia supplied what I needed. I have kept myself from being a burden to you in any way, and will continue to do so. 10As surely as the truth of Christ is in me, nobody in the regions of Achaia will stop this boasting of mine. 11Why? Because I do not love you? God knows I do! 12And I will keep on doing what I am doing in order to cut the ground from under those who want an opportunity to be considered equal with us in the things they boast about. 13For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. 14And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. 15It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.
MANY ARE FOLLOWING THE WAYS OF FALSE TEACHERS 1But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. 2And MANY WILL FOLLOW THEIR DESTRUCTIVE WAYS, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. 3By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber. 4For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; 5and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly; 6and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly; 7and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked 8(for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds)— 9then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment, 10and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries, 11whereas angels, who are greater in power and might, do not bring a reviling accusation against them before the Lord. 12But these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of the things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption, 13and will receive the wages of unrighteousness, as those who count it pleasure to carouse in the daytime. They are spots and blemishes, carousing in their own deceptions while they feast with you, 14having eyes full of adultery and that cannot cease from sin, enticing unstable souls. They have a heart trained in covetous practices, and are accursed children. 15They have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; 16but he was rebuked for his iniquity: a dumb donkey speaking with a man’s voice restrained the madness of the prophet. 17These are wells without water, clouds carried by a tempest, for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever. 18For when they speak great swelling words of emptiness, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through lewdness, the ones who have actually escaped from those who live in error. 19While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage. 20For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. 21For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. 22But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: “A dog returns to his own vomit,” and, “a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.”
GOD TAKES ERROR AND FALSE DOCTRINE IN THE CHURCH VERY SERIOUS Revelation 2:1-2 1 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things says he that holds the seven stars in his right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; 2 I know your works, and your labour, and your patience, and how you can not bear them which are evil: and you have tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and have found them liars: 3You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary. 4 Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. 5Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. 6But you have this in your favor: You hate the practices of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. 7 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God. Revelation 2:12-17 12 “To the angel of the church in Pergamum write: These are the words of him who has the sharp, double-edged sword.13I know where you live—where Satan has his throne. Yet you remain true to my name. You did not renounce your faith in me, not even in the days of Antipas, my faithful witness, who was put to death in your city—where Satan lives. 14 Nevertheless, I have a few things against you: There are some among you who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to entice the Israelites to sin so that they ate food sacrificed to idols and committed sexual immorality.15Likewise, you also have those who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans.16Repent therefore! Otherwise, I will soon come to you and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. 17 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give that person a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it. Revelation 2:18-29 18 “To the angel of the church in Thyatira write: These are the words of the Son of God, whose eyes are like blazing fire and whose feet are like burnished bronze.19I know your deeds, your love and faith, your service and perseverance, and that you are now doing more than you did at first. 20 Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols.21I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling. 22So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways.23I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds. 24 Now I say to the rest of you in Thyatira, to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets, ‘I will not impose any other burden on you,25except to hold on to what you have until I come.’ 26 To the one who is victorious and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations—27that one ‘will rule them with an iron scepter and will dash them to pieces like pottery’—just as I have received authority from my Father.28I will also give that one the morning star.29Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
LET’S LEARN MORE ABOUT THE ERROR OF THE WICKED… STARTED OUT IN THE TRUTH Matthew 13:24-29 24Jesus told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field.25But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away.26When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared. 27 “The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’ 28 “ ‘An enemy did this,’ he replied. “The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’ 29 “ ‘No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them.30Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’ ” I John 2:19 They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us.
CORRUPT THE WORD OF GOD AS BELIEVERS, FOLLOWERS, AND DISCIPLES OF CHRIST, IT’S CRITICAL WE UNDERSTAND THAT NOT EVERYTHING TAUGHT FROM THE WORD OF GOD, IS TAUGHT ACCORDING TO THE TRUTH IN CHRIST. IN FACT, THERE ARE MANY CORRUPTING THE THE SCRIPTURE, THE TRUTH. 2 Corinthians 2:17 For we are not AS MANY, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.
RESIST THE TRUTH 2 Timothy 3:1-8 1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. 9But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.
DECEIVE THEMSELVES & OTHERS Matthew 15:8-14 8 These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. 9 They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules. 10Jesus called the crowd to him and said, “Listen and understand. 11What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them.” 12Then the disciples came to him and asked, “Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?” 13He replied, “Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. 14Leave them; they are blind guides. If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.” 2 Timothy 3:13 13But evil men and seducers shall get worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 2 Peter 2:1-2 1But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. 2And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. 3By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.
GOD WANTS EACH PERSON TO HAVE SHARP SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT, THE WORD OF GOD, AND LEARNING FROM MEN AND WOMEN WHO ARE OF THE TRUTH, WE CAN HAVE THE DISCERNMENT THAT GOD’S WORD AND SPIRIT GIVE US. Consider the following Scriptures which illustrates that God wants you to have keen discernment: I John 2:27 But the anointing which you have received of him abides in you, and you need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teaches you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it has taught you, you shall abide in him. Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 2 Timothy 3:10-17 10But You have fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, 11Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me. 12Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. 14But continue in the things which you have learned and have been assured of, knowing of whom thou have learned them; 15And that from a child you have known the holy scriptures, which are able to make you wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. THEREFORE, AS BELIEVERS, FOLLOWERS, AND DISCIPLES OF CHRIST WHO CONTINUALLY READ, STUDY THE WORD OF GOD AND LEARN FROM THOSE WHO ARE OF THE TRUTH, WE GAIN GREATER AND CLARITY AND DISCERNMENT OF THE LIES AND DEVICES OF THE DEVIL USED TO DECEIVE THOSE WHO DESIRE TO SEEK THE TRUTH.
BE A PERSON WHO SEEKS AND OBEYS THE TRUTH Therefore, is a great responsibility for God’s ministers to teach the truth with un-corruptness of doctrine, and the people of God to discern truth from error. Yet, is also equally true people be truth seekers, who have ears to hear what the Holy Spirit is saying to the church. Consider the following passages: Mark 4:9 And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. I Thessalonians 2:13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when you received the word of God which you heard of us, you received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually works also in you that believe. Revelation 2:29 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches. I Timothy 2:1-8 1I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 5For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, 6who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time. 7And for this purpose I was appointed a herald and an apostle—I am telling the truth, I am not lying—and a true and faithful teacher of the Gentiles. 8Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or disputing.
FOR GOD’S MINISTERS, WHO ARE OF THE TRUTH For God’s Ministers, it is essential that our ministry be blameless. To do this, we must seek the Lord for His truth, and study to rightly divide God’s word. Otherwise, we too can be deceived. Consider the following passages: Titus 2:7-8 (Pattern of Good Works) In all things shewing yourself a pattern of good works: in doctrine showing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you. 2 Corinthians 6:3-10 (Giving No Offense) 3Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed: 4But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, 5In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings; 6By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned, 7By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, 8By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true; 9As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed; 10As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things. 2 Timothy 2:14-16 (Study to Show Ourselves Approved Unto God) 14Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. 15Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU HEAR FALSE DOCTRINE…Turn Away I Timothy 1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. BUT CONSIDER THIS. A DAY OF THE LORD WILL COME. A DAY OF DARKNESS AND TURMOIL. GOD WILL SEPARATE THE WHEAT FROM THE TARES AND THEIR FOLLY WILL BE MADE KNOWN TO ALL MEN. BUT AS THE PEOPLE OF GOD WHO ARE LISTENING TO THOSE PREACHING IN THE PULPIT, WE MUST TURN AWAY FROM THOSE WHO ARE PROUD, COVETOUS, LOVERS OF THEM OWN SELVES, AND IN ERROR.
BUT WHAT ABOUT EXPOSING FALSE PREACHERS? Unfortunately today, there are many on the internet “exposing” individuals as false prophets, false teachers, and false preachers. Consider the following scriptures which illustrates the approach of Christ’s followers. We are to discern, but not judge. Yet, we will know them by their fruits. As we see in Revelation, Jesus dealt swiftly with 3 churches about false teachers, false apostles, and false doctrine. Matthew 7:1-6 1 Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with what judgment you judge, you shall be judged: and with what measure you mete, it shall be measured to you again. 3 And why behold the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but consider not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shall you see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye. 6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you. Matthew 7:15-20 15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 You shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree brings forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that brings not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits you shall know them. Matthew 15:8-14 8 This people draws nigh unto me with their mouth, and honours me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. 10And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand: 11 Not that which goes into the mouth defiles a man; but that which comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man. 12Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Know that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying? 13But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father has not planted, shall be rooted up. 14 Let them alone: they are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
RESTORING THOSE IN ERROR A DAY OF RECKONING WILL COME. BUT AS BELIEVERS, FOLLOWERS, AND DISCIPLES OF CHRIST, WE ARE PRAYING FOR ALL MEN TO COME TO REPENTANCE, EVEN ACCORDING TO THE GOODNESS OF GOD. YET, AS THOSE WHO DEPART FROM INIQUITY AND CALL ON THE LORD OUT OF A PURE HEART. I Timothy 2:1-4 1I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. Romans 2:1-16 1Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. 2But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things. 3And do you think this, O man, you who judge those practicing such things, and doing the same, that you will escape the judgment of God? 4Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? 5But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, 6who “will render to each one according to his deeds”: 7eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; 8but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath, 9tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek; 10but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works what is good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 11For there is no partiality with God. 12For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law 13(for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified; 14for when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, 15who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them) 16in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel. Galatians 6:1-10 1Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, you which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. 2Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. 3For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. 4 But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. 5For every man shall bear his own burden. 6Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teaches in all good things. 7Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap. 8For he that sows to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that sows to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. 10As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. 2 Timothy 2 1You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others. 3Join with me in suffering, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. 4No one serving as a soldier gets entangled in civilian affairs, but rather tries to please his commanding officer. 5Similarly, anyone who competes as an athlete does not receive the victor’s crown except by competing according to the rules. 6The hardworking farmer should be the first to receive a share of the crops. 7Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all this. 8Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, descended from David. This is my gospel, 9for which I am suffering even to the point of being chained like a criminal. But God’s word is not chained. 10Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory. 11Here is a trustworthy saying: If we died with him, we will also live with him; 12if we endure, we will also reign with him. If we disown him, he will also disown us; 13if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself. 14Keep reminding God’s people of these things. Warn them before God against quarreling about words; it is of no value, and only ruins those who listen. 15Do your best (Study) to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. 16Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly. 17Their teaching will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus,18who have departed from the truth. They say that the resurrection has already taken place, and they destroy the faith of some.
REGARDING THE CARE OR CONCERN FOR THOSE WHO WHO MAY BE LED ASTRAY – WE DON’T HAVE TO WARN OTHERS BY FOOLISHLY SCANDALIZING EVERY PERSON WE SEE OR BELIEVE ON THE INTERNET TO BE IN ERROR. THE LORD KNOWS THEM WHO ARE HIS…….READ ON…
19Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.” 20In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for special purposes and some for common use. 21Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work. 22Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 23Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. 24And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. 25Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, 26and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.
